The Soil O-Live project participates in the TRAILS4SOIL Multi-stakeholder Workshop in Córdoba

Soil O-Live participated in the Multi-stakeholder Workshop: ‘Co-creating solutions for soil health’, organised as part of the TRAILS4SOIL project. The event, held at the Córdoba Technology Park, saw the active participation of Antonio Manzaneda, coordinator of the European project, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and strengthening collaboration networks between initiatives working to restore agricultural soils in Europe.
During the morning, the meeting focused on identifying the priority challenges and opportunities for improving soil health. Using a working methodology based on the Living Labs approach, attendees analysed how concerns vary according to the scope of each actor and established direct relationships between the identified objectives and the essential functions of soil.

Antonio Manzaneda shared Soil O-Live’s progress and methodology at the Solutions Workshop, where experiences and best practices in conservation agriculture and regenerative agriculture were analysed. The main barriers to implementing these techniques were discussed, and joint solutions to overcome them were proposed.
The day included an exclusive session with farmers aimed at agreeing on the management practices to be implemented on pre-selected farms, thus defining the experimental trials to be carried out in the near future.
With this meeting, Soil O-Live continues to consolidate its role as a benchmark in the transfer of knowledge for the sustainability of olive groves and soil health at an international level.
