The Casa de la Cultura of Villafranca de los Barros, hosted on Wednesday 18th September, a sustainability conference in the framework of the Soil Olive project.
The event began with an informative assembly for the members, where Isabel Apolo, manager of the S.Coop San Isidro cooperative, explained the campaign rules.
This was followed by a presentation by Bartolomé Lara, global sustainability technician at Deoleo, who explained the company’s sustainability project and its links with the Viñaoliva group. Antonio Manzaneda also spoke, explaining the Soil Olive project and presenting some of the results, as well as highlighting the importance of plant cover. Forty farmers participated proactively in the event.
